What is nexium:
Esomeprazole capsules should be taken at least one hour before a meal. Esomeprazole is available with a doctor's prescription and is commonly called by its brand name, Nexium. You will need to take Nexium, or you may require a dosage adjustment or special monitoring. Esomeprazole prevents symptoms and damage to the gastrointestinal tract caused by stomach acid or infection. In pregnant women has not been appraised. Taking Nexium, unless otherwise directed by your doctor.
